The Aquarium of the Pacific transforms into a creepy under-the-sea play land this weekend only.
Discover the creatures lurking in the depths of Pacific at the Scarium of the Pacific—a spooktacular educational Halloween event for the whole family.
Enjoy special Halloween programs, including the annual children’s costume contest, the creepy coloring contest, magic shows, underwater pumpkin carving, spooky storytelling, kooky crafts, eerie animals in the Great Hall, and much more.

COSTUME CONTEST
Pick up a registration card for your child at the information desk and bring the completed card to the area in front of Lorikeet Forest at 12:45pm. The costume contest will be held at 1:00 pm at the Blue Cavern Stage.
Win Great Prizes! Each contestant will receive a treat just for entering and have a photo opportunity with one of our costume characters.

Family Halloween Carnival in Manhattan Beach
The Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department is holding its 24th annual Family Halloween Carnival at Manhattan Heights Community Center. This event is geared towards kids ages 2 to 13. There will be face painting, a costume contest, a haunted house, and carnival booths. All game booths are constructed by children in the Afterschool REC Program. The Haunted House is designed and run by the teens in the Teen Center Program and recreation leaders.
All the booths, games, haunted house, and refreshments require tickets that can be purchased at the Information booth for $1.00.

Halloween Hullabaloo
How about one more chance to try out those costumes before Halloween? Spend Sunday afternoon at AdventurePlex at the Halloween Hullabaloo! Your kids can show off their costumes while playing carnival style games and exploring the five-level play structure, all while you relax with free WI-FI and a snack from the Courtside Café.
